I know I’ve posted this before but it’s worthy of a second post!
Ok, honestly I’d been waiting and excited and god knows jumping to go to the Katy Perry concert which was the 14th of May 2011. I got my tickets Christmas day, and although it sounds odd, I’m not ashamed to admit that I actually legit cried lol. I had such a hard and confusing year, and those tickets were the beginning of something to look forward to, something to be happy about =) Besides having Dane that is haha. He was there for me through everything I went though that year, and for that - AND THE TICKETS to Katy Perry, I’m so completely greatful. I found myself entering every competition to meet her that I managed to stumble across! And the luck and desire in my heart lead me to win =) I met Katy after the concert that night - it was meant to be beforehand but everyone else was running late so we had to wait till after!
We were taken to her dressing room and got to chat with her for a little bit! And had our photo! And one thing signed and just wow, it was insane seriously. A fabulous way to spend a day.
Not only was the concert perfect - fawless! She met my expectations of a beautiful, kind, sweet and quirky woman!
So, thank you so much Dane because this was one amazing evening!
I’m incredibly thankful for all that I’ve been given and all the opportunities I’ve had! Meeting Katy Perry most certainly wasn’t something I thought would happen this year, but it was definitely one of the more amazing things to happen to me.
